MESSAGE TO THE WORLD - AN ONGOING PROJECT

Dear reader,

THE PROJECT:
Let people of various backgrounds share their message of life with people from all over the world.
This is an ongoing project. It first started to be published on this platform. The idea is to spread these messages via journals and have exhibitions around the world. Like this the messages will have the chance to create a major positive impact.

THE PARTICIPANTS:
people of various cultural, political, ethnical, social and religious backgrounds:
- kids from Kindergarden up to the older generation
- healthy & sick
- so called "normal" or "unimportant" people as toilet cleaners and street sellers as well as VIPs of the showbiz, politics etc.
- Jews, Moslems, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, etc. as well as Atheists
- intellectuals & simple minded people etc.

THE GOAL:
- help to augment the appreciation of the diversity as well as the similarities of human beings around the globe, no matter how different they may appear according to their backgrounds
- create a feeling of connectedness
- rise a yearning for deeper understanding of one another
- help people be pro atcive and meet each other -even strangers- on a personal level in the day to day life (leaving behind the learned labels that society normally puts on people) thus
- improve efforts of reconciliation
- bring about a deeper awareness of myself and the others around me and thus
- help to augment justice and peace around the world, especially in conflict areas


THE IDEA:
Extensive travel experiences around the globe brought me to the question "what is the most essential in life? and what is the message you would like to share with the world?". Then I wondered, what the message of other people would be like. What would their most essential vision for this life sound like. What would it be, condensed within a few sentences or even just a few words? So and I began to ask them and they wer eager to participate in the project.

Through the interviews and talks I came to the conclusion: we are all individuals with special gifts, thoughts and feelings. We have different ideas and yet in many ways - even lots of times outwardly seemingly very different, our inmost aspirations are quite alike.

The idea that started to take roots in Assisi, Italy, in the mean while became known as the "MESSAGE TO THE WORLD"-PROJECT.


MY MESSAGE TO THE WORLD:
Live your life joyfully and with awareness. Use your God given gifts & CARPE DIEM - use each day to the fullest! With your little actions make this world a better place. No effort is ever lost. The darkness of hate and misunderstanding has to evaporate infront of the light of love.
